Daniel Zapata Leonardo Varona was born on June 13 in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. Daniel began at an early age to get their musical influences from his mother. He lived in several places due to work commitments of their parents and this contributed to his knowledge of various languages and multicultural growth. At age 12, Daniel began lessons in classical guitar, which stimulate him to compose own songs. A 17-year-old Daniel begins to learn everything you need to produce an album where he meets producers that guide the work on vocal technique, dance, music theory and music software. At age 20 he recorded his first album titled “Your Name” with 4 songs in English and 4 in Spanish, which launched in 2004, work which only distributed a few copies for your friends and acquaintances, but this was a time considered by the how a large stage theoretical and practical enrichment musically. Thanks to the welcome we received this work from the public, Daniel was hired by other artists for the production and direction of their albums, including the Artist Juan David Lopez work “My Proposal”. In 2004 Daniel began recording their second album, “In My Dreams”, a bilingual project that began in 2000 where he worked on pre-production with Colombian talents as: Juan Esteban Duque, Jairo Jimenez, David Orion, Nicolas Guevara Alejandro Vargas and Camilo Posada. Then Daniel travels to Miami to complete the production of the album under the supervision of winning producer 4 Grammys Iker Gastaminza where artists like Lee Levin, Julio Hernandez, Alejandro Garcia, Yasmil Marrufo, Pablo Camilo Valencia Manavello and made their contribution to the songs on the album. Composer of over 200 original songs, guitarist and producer of 5 albums, his current full-time dedication is the art of music, guitar, singing and dancing as an artist, along with co-producer and music executive, these activities combining with another of his great passions, Kung Fu, martial art practiced for 3 years. He is currently based in Miami, where he continues to invest in its artistic career growth.
